Why Connect with Younify Connect?

  • Eliminate the cold-start problem of asking customers what they like — instead use their actual watchlist and continue watching content.
  • Feed recommendation and personalization engines with actual real-time data as well has historical data.
  • Gain insight into your customers’ preferences based on their streaming habits, viewing preferences and ratings.
  • Make high-quality connections between customers based on their movie and TV show preferences— without asking any questions.

How It Works

Younify Connect makes it easy for you to connect with your customers’ streaming data.
The Younify Connect API gives your app access to your customers’ authenticated streaming accounts when they sign in to their favorite streaming services. Credential validation, multi-factor authentication, CAPTCHA, and error handling for each supported streaming service will all be handled by Younify Connect. SDKs for iOS, Android, and React Native are available.

Select streaming services

Customer signs in

Younify retrieves titles

Access all the Watchlists,
Continue Watching, and more

Display customer data however it best suits your app design

Use raw datasets for matching
like-minded users

Note:  The Younify SDK renders the provider sign-in (and profile selection) screen and the loading screen prior to returning control to the hosting application—with some UI customization/branding available. All remaining screens are rendered by the hosting application (using data obtained from the Younify SDK).

What could you do with your customer’s entire Netflix Watch History? What would that tell your AI about your customer? How much better would your recommendations be with your customer’s entire Netflix ratings history?
